This study sought to assess the relative effect of catheter, tissue, and catheter-tissue parameters, on ability determine amount viable myocardium in vivo. Although multiple variables impact bipolar voltages (BVs), electrode size, interelectrode spacing, directional dependency are particular interest with development catheters incorporating mini microelectrodes. Nine swine early reperfusion myocardial infarctions were mapped using QDot catheter then remapped a Pentaray catheter. All points matched within 5 mm.
